Sports injuries-

Muscle strains and ligament sprains are common in active sports enthusiasts. Tendinitis or inflammation of a tendon often occurs in repetitive activities such as tennis. Severe sprains and strains require medical attention. Tendinitis is often helped by supportive devices. Acute injury with inflammation and pain should first be treated by resting and elevating the injured part and applying ice to decrease swelling and inflammation.
