Sports injuries-
Muscle strains and ligament sprains are common in active sports enthusiasts.
Tendinitis or inflammation of a tendon often occurs in repetitive activities
such as tennis. Severe sprains and strains require medical attention. Tendinitis
is often helped by supportive devices. Acute injury with inflammation and
pain should first be treated by resting and elevating the injured part
and applying ice to decrease swelling and inflammation.
Bromelain-enzymes from the pineapple plant. Use of bromelain
has been shown to reduce swelling, inflammation and pain
Dry in capsules (1200-1800 mcu potency)- 250-500 mg three times a day
on an empty stomach.
Curcumin- a safe and effective antiinflammatory derived from
turmeric. It's absorption is improved by using with Bromelain.
